If you live in one of the cities where the number of residential and commercial properties under construction is increasing, you might be able to take advantage of some of the landscaping services available through the city’s newly created Brightview Landscaping Services and Design Services.
The services are open to the public, and the city says you can get a quote for your landscaped property in two to three days, depending on the size of your property.
“The new landscaping service is available for residential properties and commercial property under construction and is expected to provide significant revenue to the city and provide an economic boost to our communities,” city staff wrote in a news release.
“Brightview Landscape Services is one of many services that are available to assist our residents with landscaping and landscaping maintenance.”

In Toronto, the City of Toronto, and other cities across Canada, a new urban landscape service was launched in March 2018.
The Toronto Urban Landscape Program was announced as part of a multi-year strategy that includes a $3-billion infrastructure plan, which aims to connect urban centres and neighbourhoods.
The city is currently looking for proposals for the first phase of the program, which will involve the installation of 6,000 new green space projects.
At a press conference in April 2018, Mayor John Tory called the new urban landscaping program an “opportunity to improve Toronto’s urban landscape.”
“It’s a way to support the community while we get ready for the economic impact of this citywide transformation,” he said.
“As we look to the future, this new urban service is an opportunity to be part of the solution.
It’s an opportunity for us to create a new generation of green spaces in our cities and to be able say that our city has done a good job of providing opportunities for people to grow their businesses, their families, and their communities.”

The city says there are about 30,000 residential and business properties currently under construction across the city.

Some of the new landscaving services the City is offering.
One of the most popular services available is the new Urban Garden, which is a program that allows you to put down a “living green” garden.
You can plant and maintain up to 20 plants or trees at a time.
It is one way to make sure your neighbourhood is green, said city staff member Maria Bélanger.
“If you can’t grow your own food, it’s going to be difficult for you to live in a neighbourhood that’s greener than the rest of the city.”
Another popular option is to grow your food in the City’s urban gardens, which are located along the sidewalk.
“We have been working on the implementation of these services for quite some time and they are available now for residential property,” Bésler said.
As for the City and the landscapers who are currently working on these programs, Bézilanger said they will provide information about their services in the future.
According to a city spokesperson, there are currently about 6,600 residential and small commercial properties in the city under contract for the new programs.
Other services available for homeowners include a program for renters, and an alternative to buying your home, called “Community Services.”
There are a few things that can be done with your new landscaved home, like planting trees and planting a shrubbery, but there is also the option to add a garden in your garden and plant a vegetable garden.
If you want to be more proactive in your landscaving, you can purchase a “Landscape Kit” that can help you do a few other things with your landscapers.
